I think it was on Wednesday that I found this copy of a newspaper, dated September 13, 2001. Two days after 911. A pivotal turning point in one's life even if you aren't sure why it should affect you.
Of all things I pulled out of the shelf that morning, I was not expecting to come face to face with this one. And yet, when I was holding it in my hands and saw what I was holding in my hands, I knew for certain that it was exactly what I had to see. As though it had been bought more than 19 years ago and sitting in the shelf waiting for this exact moment in time to greet me first thing in the morning.
I still remember how my sister bought this newspaper. I looked at her and asked her why she was buying a copy of it. To me... it was just another headline just like every other headline. I was accustomed to how the headlines filled the papers for months like they are the most harrowing events to read... until the writers have something new to write about.
I knew and already expected that a day would come when another tragic tale would replace the 911 episode as the horrific day's story for months.
And yet my sister smiled satisfactorily, as though she was certain it is the one newspaper she has to buy if she ever has to buy only one in her entire present incarnation.
And though this no longer means anything to me... I am certain that I am going to keep this in the family treasure trove as one of the most important historical human artifact that would hopefully withstand the passage of time. I'm actually surprised that the paper is not as yellowish as the pages of the books next to it.
And though I was suppose to never post this on the Internet... this day after full moon day felt like it was a good baggage to release to WWW Cosmos for whatever purpose it serves For The True Good Of All.
Incidentally, I wrote last year that... "While I Am Not A Terrified Citizen"... and though I have broken up with politics... and in spite tuning out of media and everything pop and mainstream... and the last thing on my list of concerns would be topics like these... I did write about terrorism and how the Philippines has been a "playground" for terrorists. Playground... or "secret laboratory".
I went over details in the article below. And they do match up with everything I saw on TV back then. And also match up with everything I read about the "bombing project" back then.
And as of last year, the online sources I found back in the early 2000 narrating details of the "bombing project" were still available in the Internet.
And that's all I'm gonna say.
You'll have to try your luck getting additional reliable factual proven Intel somewhere else.
Points I will re-write here for the record:
1. I truly did see the hideout raid on the very day that the terrorist hideout was discovered.
It was discovered by accident.
There was a fire accident.. caused by the terrorists themselves. Unfortunately OR FORTUNATELY, they were conducting experiments at that moment which led to the fire accident.
I was able to see it live on TV when the place was being raided on the spot. And they said it was originally a fire rescue response.
People in the neighborhood were familiar with the foreigners. Though they were not suspicious at all.
2. The series of movie house bombings all over the country especially during the 1990's were connected to the "bombing project".
They were using the movie houses as "testing grounds".
Why?
Because part of their plan prior to 911 is to take over several planes that would depart the Manila Airport. And bomb those planes.
Movie houses were the best "testing ground" because the chairs in movie houses are the closest "specimen" to what an airplane chair is like.
Airplane chairs are not like any other ordinary chair. And a plane itself is not an ordinary structure to be bombed.
Which is why experiments actually had to be conducted to ensure they were able to successfully bomb planes.
3. After the discovery of the hideout... where they found the details to their plan... flights had to be checked and cancelled. Nothing was publicly announced immediately to avoid panic. Though it was eventually said on news that there was a possibility for terrorist attacks.
4. Because the plan to assassinate the pope and to bomb several planes coming from Manila failed... a new plan was eventually conceived which led to 911.
Even at that moment of seeing the hideout being raided, I thought to myself that it was really funny of the terrorists to get caught in their own hiding place because they were being careless and set their own lair on fire.
And at the same time I figured It Is Absolute Divine Intervention At Work.
And to this very moment every time I remember that incident: I completely fully believe it was Absolutely An Act Of Divine Intervention.
How many times in the entire human history did a group of terrorist get caught because they were playing with fire and got burned?
How many times in the entire human history did firemen have to respond to a fire accident... to discover the fire was caused by people experimenting to make bombs and hijack planes to bomb them?
