Stay On The Path For Progression Is Inevitable

Just get started.
Just do it.

Do not be too worried about huge goals and incredible achievements.

Stick to the path and proceed steadily and consistently.

You will be surprised how much progress you make in months and years to come.

One of the Best Things Parents can Tell Children

You Have A Choice
It so happens that right at the time I was entering university, the military finally opened its doors to female cadets.

Since childhood, one of my dreams was to be an officer myself.  I wanted to fly jets and planes.  Mostly, I realized it was a long shot to get into NASA.  And the next best thing to rockets and space ships would have been flying the most advanced military jets.   Last option was at least be head captain and fly commercial planes.

I'm actually okay and happy that I winded up riding planes instead.  And just trusting pilots with doing the flying.

As for the reason I did not wind up a cadet/officer...

Well as a psychic I would naturally say: It wasn't my destiny.😊

Though I would say here what my dad told me when I tried to insist...

My dad told me one of the best things parents can tell their children: You have a choice.

The Ultimate Fix to Resolve the Hassle of Juice and Smoothie Feasting

Dragon fruit smoothie remains to be my top favorite DIY ice blended drink, though I've actually taken a break from blending in opt for more water instead.  This post is making me change my mind.😍

So, Juice and Smoothie Hackaround...

One of the top complaints about juicing and/or blending isn't actually about the juicing or blending per se...

πŸ‘‰But about the fact that washing the juicer or blender is quite a hassle.  Some machines are just too complicated or heavy.  And especially for city people who work the regular corpo job... blending or juicing requires extra effort or great interest to actually get into the habit➡unless they're already in to it.

For blenders, there are solo-sized blenders already.  However, it doesn't truly make a huge difference about washing.  Dish washing is dish washing.  Period.

One thing:  the whole idea about blending and juicing is about "drinking your fruits".  The liquid state supposedly allows you to absorb more of the nutrients in contrast to munching your fruits and veggies.  That doesn't mean you should stop eating whole fruits and veggies.  Variation is essential.  And eating whole fruits and veggies still has its own advantages.  Juicing and blending have their own benefits.

If you just have no patience at all with juicing/blending...

Three ways to deal with this:

1)  If you prefer eating your fruits, that's already so much better than not eating any fruits.

2)  Infusions or teas.

For infusions, you just have to slice your fruits and add them to a jug filled with plain water.  Leave overnight or for a couple of hours.  You can place in the fridge or add ice.

Tea... not all herbs/fruits/veggies are that awesome as DIY tea.  Google is your friend for this topic.

The good thing about tea is that they usually do not have any additives.  The ingredients are usually just dried/dehydrated.  However, I do not guarantee that packaged/manufactured brands (especially those who produce huge volumes) do not contain some amount of preservatives to prolong shelf life.  Which is the reason a lot of people tend to do DIY homemade teas instead.

3)  Manual juicer or good ole squeezing to make juices.  Manual juicers are smaller and portable.  Though there are complex manual juicers...  there still are a lot of variations which are convenient and portable.  So much handier than electric-operated machines, too.  Ergo: virtually solves the hassle when it comes to washing.

However, these hackarounds won't give the same quality as blending smoothies.  So if you still love your smoothies... blender is the best way to go.

I'm a blender-kind of person, mostly because it's still less of a hassle compared to juicing.  Also, there's a lot of things you can do with a blender.  Apart from smoothies, you can use it to make homemade plant cheese, plant milk, and sauces, too.

The Underlying Motivation of People To Turn Light, Pranic, or Vegan

Although it was norm for me and my family to frequently visit Baguio, this specific trip was actually one of the most impactful for me.

When I first decided to just stop eating meat, I didn't call it vegan or plantbase back then because I was hearing about those but never actually paid attention.  I had no judgement against the idea of not eating meat.  I just thought it was interesting not to do so.  But I never gave it a lot of thought, because I had this personal motto that food is happiness.  And at a young age, I figured and told myself that I would never starve myself just for a diet or lose weight.  I was never weight/figure conscious.  Perhaps my parents/family raised me well enough to have a good sense of accepting myself for my weight and figure.  If any... I use to think I was too thin and even wanted to gain at least ten more pounds.  Other than that, I didn't question my figure.  I even decided that the whole weight+height equation must be wrong, since I could never get out of 110lbs. no matter what I do.  Yet, science assumes I should be around 5 to 15 pounds more than I should be.  And honestly... even if I currently have this "massbuilding+toning self project" going on... I don't exactly care what weight I get into, mainly because I can accept myself for my physical physique.  I think that's actually one reason why I have been delaying my own progress and haven't been as aggressive as body builders and fitness buffs are.  I'm not worried or concerned about my figures... and am happy about who and what I AM.

The one word that did stick to me was #fruitarianism.  Mostly because I heard it on the radio and it was presented as a story instead of just some kind of flash news.  As you can see... I have a thing for stories.  And soceven if I heard fruitarianism only once on a radio more than 10 years ago, it actually stuck with me.  And maybe one other reason is that I naturally loved fruits even as a kid.  I had trouble with many different foods.  But I was okay with fresh fruits, and always would coax my parents to buy fruits if they brought me with them to the grocery.😍

So the whole #veganism was "an after effect".  I was already doing what I can to keep meat out of my meals.  And eventually figured maybe I can run some research.  That's how I stumbled into the whole veganism movement thing going on.  And found recipes.  I also stumbled upon stories of other people, which matched up with my own personal experiences.

So, yes... it was when I ran a search that I realized there were "words" to describe what I was doing.  That was the only time all the stories of friends and coworkers sank in.  I had at least a handful of people who told me about how a coworker or classmate or schoolmate was vegan... it all never sank in and made sense, until that moment when I was researching for myself.

This is another reason I don't force people into #wholefoodplantbase.  I understand that it can be so absurd or completely new/strange to some people.  But time can come when it will make sense.  Especially when they themselves are interested and want to know more.

If vegan/light/prana/wfpb is for you, it will happen for you.

To me, as I often quip:  It's about life choices and journeys.  What are you choosing?  What journeys are you designing or have designed?  Though there are potentially other factors, those two are often basic to the equation.

Moreover, as I also do say:  Truth be told, you already are.  We already are.

You Are Never Alone

So, I keep saying, "You are never alone!"  And tonight... for the first time ever... I actually stumble upon another psychic's post in one of my FB Buy and Sell groups.  Yes!  The very first time!

I do know that there are other psychics in my town.  It's quite easy to find a folk practitioner in the countryside.

But online on FB and right in my town......... Life keeps surprising me!  And it's a beautiful surprise!  Thank you!

The "other psychic's" post.

Mudra Beyond Colloquialism

When words have more definitions than one.  For today, let's talk about the "mudra".

If you think you don't have time for tai chi, yoga, or meditation, then #mudra is perfect for you.

No need to do a lotus pose.  No need to sit in meditation.  In fact, you can do this when you are in the commute, or stuck in traffic... or waiting for the Sunday service sermon to end.  And no one will even notice.

(I even do it when I'm in bed and can't sleep 😊 )

So you value your health?  What would you give and how much of your time can you afford to offer?

And to top it all up, it doesn't cost a penny... and you get to "keep your five cents".

Out Playing In The Sun, Hooray!

After several days of being indoors and u/n-well, so glad I managed to be out to run some errands.  I had gotta have some sunny lemons... and more if only my tummy could handle that much of food.

I remember I use to wonder how the Japanese can eat just the size of a bento box for a meal➡I swear if you have known me in the past life (LOL like less than 10 years ago), I feast to my delight, and was quite known among my friends as the one who gathers everyone for an xmas or annual reunion... for the sake of feasting or coffee-ing!

I remember now as well how an officemate once confessed, "Hindi naman kami kumakain araw-araw ng lunch sa labas noon... nagsimula lang ng dumating ka".πŸ˜‚  I never asked if it was something good or bad!  But I am sure they must have enjoyed all the coffees and cakes and filling lunches!πŸ˜†πŸ˜πŸ’–

And now... Oh My God, I eat breakfast for one to two hours... and sometimes three.  And it's just oatmeal and nuts/fruits!  Maybe a smoothie or juice.

And dinner... it's been a couple of years that I just can't have heavy dinners any longer.  The past couple of months... some nuts and water... or lemon water will suffice.

And Now... I know I face another major transition as I move into 2020.

Not just cutting, but literally shedding.

Oh My God, how am I surviving.

And yet going forward is so much easier than sinking back.

The Moon, The Signs, and My Lemon Water Feasting

πŸ’–Cheers!🍹

My first and last meal was brunch.  And I decided to keep an empty stomach for another Lemon Water dinner.  I am not on a fast though.  I'm hoping to eat more before the week is through.  I find it to be somewhat connected to the "Libra to Scorpio to Scorpio New Moon" energies though.  A lot of purging and clearing out happening.  I am looking forward to the brighter livelier energies coming through once La Luna moves into Sagittarius by the end of the month.  There will be more sense of relief by then.  However, those still at the threshold of their Awakening-Ascension phase would be going through something pretty different.

Alright!  Back to my busy Friday night!

LiquiDinner

Lemon Water

I haven't done this in a while.  Mostly because I have been on plain water recently whenever I do a dryfast.

However, after doing some focus on balance and strength, I went back to lower root works.  Major release in all levels.  And surprisingly my body has yet more to detox.  I was gonna go for oranges.  I saw good lemon today, and opted for a lemon water dinner tonight.

πŸ’–Cheers🍹

It's Feasting Season! So, More About Food!

Food!

My favorite topic... or one of them at least.

And modern studies now know the truth which the ancients have been teaching: that "mucus" (the modern term) does come from certain foods, as well as pollution and other sources, and is the cause of dis-ease.

"Doshas are Vata, Pitta, Kapha and Agni is our digestive fire."

(Doshas is the counterpart of the elements, which is called something else depending on which culture or scripture you are referring to.)

"Many factors, such as detrimental lifestyle, diet, bad food combining and repressed emotions, can cause the bodily doshas to become aggravated. This soon disturbs agni, with the result that food cannot be properly digested. The undigested food turns into a morbid, toxic sticky substance, called ama. Ama is the root cause of many diseases. The presence of ama in the system leads to fatigue, and a feeling of heaviness. It may induce constipation, indigestion, gases, bad breath, perverted taste, and mental confusion. The tongue gets a thick coating and there may be generalized body ache and stiffness. Because of the critical importance of agni in maintaining health, it is important to have balanced agni, called sama agni."

When doing a cleanse, detox, fast... it is not just "plain fat" you are trying to clear out.  One of the ideal results is that mucus (not merely fat) is cleansed out of the body.

Mucus is the ama, described in the above quoted text.

Some keywords to find out more: #mucusfree #livingmucusfree
*these keywords mostly turn in "modern studies".

If you are more curious about the "ancient holistic stuff", it is best to choose a specific culture/belief and read about their beliefs on food and the body.  Whether you read Chinese or Hindu sources... terms and details might differ, but there are many similarities.

Conclusions Re My Relationship Status With FB

My FB thoughts...

A good time for everyone to expand their possibilities.

FB+marketing+shopping is at a young stage.  And it's trying to remain a free platform (for now... if you do know... Mark Z was on the "hot seat" some time ago for "overspending").  Would anyone actually pay to stay on FB.  Would users/members actually start paying to keep their accounts.

Moreover, the "bidding game" is gonna make many business owners rethink their options.  How much are they actually churning in through FB.  Is it actually worth pushing limits... a gamble at this point.

These are interesting changes.  Though honestly I expected this happening, after the huge major housecleaning it went through this time last year (2018).

A good time for new possibilities.  Competitions might even take advantage of this situation.

A good time to wait things out... sit back and relax... and let things settle down.

Risk if you are earning.

IF you have better things in mind than random chance and playing... IF you prefer to hit a sure win: wise to watch where things are truly going, before pitching.

That all doesn't negate the fact that definitely risking huge and bidding big time... people can still earn.

It is more about what's going on in your individual pursuits... what are your priorities, do you like risking, are you actually earning.

Life Is But A Wheel

So I have been putting some new creative spins to the traditional asanas.  Some are happy.  But snotty traditionalists believe in preservation.

I believe that the eons-worth-of-traditions exist as fundamental foundation.  So before I go around some more sporting my transcended versions of the asanas... I just wanna console conservative yogis that they can chill and relax.  So here's a the traditional Wheel Pose asana➡one of the asanas every yogi probably must and should know.  However, I honestly do not dub myself a yogi or yogini.  Yoga is just one tool in the toolbox.  One of the gazillions of paths.  Lots to learn from it.   But it's just one of the gazillions.

Thank You, Yoga.  My playful child self has millions of millions of reasons to be happy in this playground that is Life.

Comprehending The Misunderstood

We're not against the corporate world.  Some people like the commute and day jobs.  It's about proper work conditions and terms.  An employee receiving a minimum of P8,000 or P13,000 will never have a better life if they don't get a second job only because that amount of salary is just enough to pay for ensuring they are able to go to their work every day➡not an amount that allows them to have a good home, raise families, bring children to private schools... or afford other normal human being life conveniences and sacred rights.

People should not be getting second or third or fourth jobs in order to maintain  and sustain their primary source of livelihood and actually make a living and live a decent life.

Their primary jobs should➡above all else➡already address that first purpose of having a job, in the first place.

A second or third job should only be an option... should a person desire more income.  But never for the purpose of addressing the first reason why they got into a job.

Freelance, business, self employment, homebased work... these are not supposed to be solutions to replace the corporate system.  They are only supposed to be options➡preferences of the kind of work a person would be happy to have.

There's nothing wrong with being an employee.  There's nothing wrong if you prefer to be a manager.  However, you are not better off just because you get into business or become a business owner.

Employee or business owner➡you got work to do.

It's about "where you are fulfilled the most".

An employee can be perfectly successful, content, and happy being an employee.

The same way you can be equally successful, content, and happy being a business owner.

No judgements.

Not everyone will wanna get into business.  And even a business person requires a team of employees to actually run a business.  And guess what?  There are people who are happy enough to be cocreators and collaborators with you as their leader➡without having to be business-minded folks.

If you wanna keep it real and change the world:  If you are a bread winner supporting a family (your own or your immediate blood family)... you have to have more than P50,000 basic pay per month to do all that.

Money is Energy.

Money is a Cocreator.

Make friends with it.
