I like to imagine myself as the tree described in Kilmer's poem, and recite it as I stand in this beautiful asana.
I love its simplicity... and yet how powerful the energy is in it.
According to one of my references, there are only a couple of yoga asanas from the medieval times that remain popular in these modern times.
I could imagine that The Tree must be so strong as to be one of the asanas that has withstood the test of time.
Be gentle as a lotus.
Be strong as a tree.
Staying Strong to Strongest as a tree. Staying Safe. Staying Healthy. Staying Blessed.
